Today's the day!

Hi everyone,

The day has finally come! I'm leaving for Ghana today at 1:55. I'm flying from St. Louis to Newark and then Newark to London and finally London to Accra! It'll be a long flight but I'm really excited! I'm hoping to see some Olympic athletes wandering around the airport.. who knows, maybe they accidentally showed up a week late? :) Anyways, these past days have been pretty sad saying good bye to all of my friends, but it's nice to know I have a lot of support at home. I'm not sure how my internet will be, but I hope to keep up with this pretty regularly. I'll make sure to write once I arrive! Say an extra prayer for safe travels please!
